Three Weeks of Fun

Well once again, I am behind!  I know no one is surprised.  I just did not make myself sit down and put in journal entries as I should have.  We have had ballgames, practices, school functions, time with Poppaw and Mommaw and other stuff!

The Monday after Mother's Day, Hayden had a baseball game.  It was not a particularly great one for our big guy.  He just did not have it all together that night.  Bless his heart.  The thrill of the evening and the only real bright spot was that Poppaw was there.  Hayden loves spending time with Poppaw and having Poppaw with him.

On the Thursday following that game, Coach Carey had the kids out for practice for a long time.  He really had them going after it!  Of course, Hayden loved being out there.  He does not think of it as work or practice.  It IS BASEBALL.

Do you love the Orioles uniform at a Ranger practice?

Leggin' it out!

Hayden had another game and another practice the following week.  He did better at the game and had a lot of fun at the practice.  Coaches set up the pitching machine and so the kids really liked that a lot.

Ready to go home..............

Playing hard makes a fella thirsty...............

Hayden got to go to Good Citizen's Day for the 4th Nine Weeks.  It was out at Burns Park Funland.  I got to be off work and go too.  It was a great day.

 Such a beautiful smile

Memorial Day Weekend we went to see Poppaw and Mommaw.  It was a great weekend.  We love seeing them and spending time with them.  Hayden helped us put flowers out at the cemetaries.  He was very good about it.  He worried about people who did not have flowers so we put some on them too.  He wanted to know about his family too.  It was a special time.

Today Hayden went to a Kid's Clinic before the Travs game got rained out.  He loved being out there and seeing the ballplayers.  He immediately went to the part of the Clinic that Ryan was giving.  He wanted to make sure he saw "his" ballplayer.

 Eye on the ball...............

It is so hard to believe that after tomorrow, our little guy will be a second grader.  Where did all the time go?
