Hayden has been attending Summer Quest this past week. He will attend next week as well. He is loving it. School is great when you only have to go for 3 hours a day. (He thinks they might be really on to something here). He has such fabulous teachers and the best part was he got to see Mrs. Parker the first day there (and I am sure has stalked her out every day since). His first session of the day is the Magic School Bus. It is based on the book series for kids. He is ALL about that. They have been learning about the earth and you know that is way cool. One night Hayden came home and told us that they had to take a rock to school the next day for Mrs. Norman in that class. So....I got him a rock. Well, as you might guess, many of the kids brought more than one rock....yes, I heard all about that. The second class is Dynomite Dinosaurs. We are liking that one too. One of the other first grade teachers from Hayden's school is teaching it. The first day Hayden was a bit excited about the book she was reading and kept "sharing information" about each page. Finally Mrs. Stafford had to ask "Hayden are you going to let me read this book?" I am happy to report that the second day after classes, Hayden called to tell me about his day and said that he had a great day and "Yes, I left her read the book". :-) (Now why would he think I was going to ask him that question). We are excited that Mrs. Parker and Mrs. Ware suggested he take this 2 week session because Hayden is really enjoying it and learning lots too. I have no photos of him there but will share a couple of him just because I love taking photos of him.
(Who would have ever thought he might have long legs?)
