Today was a Snow Day for Hayden. The schools were out in North Little Rock so he got to stay home. I went to work for a bit, got some files and brought them home. By noon, there was enough snow to go outside and play. It was a LOT of fun. Sometimes we, as adults, forget to just laugh and have fun. Today was not one of those days for us. Harold and I so much enjoyed watching Hayden enjoy the snow. I thought he might want to build a snowman but he just wanted to have snowball fights. I got pelted! (Of course, being the Mommie that I am, I made snowballs for him to use because he was having a tough time keeping them together. WHAT was I thinking?)
Here are some photos from our wonderful Snow Day:
Okay so he was probably getting lots of bacteria, but how do you tell a kid not to enjoy the snow falling on your tongue? :-)
Henry and Mudge (the storybook characters) make Snow Angels so Hayden had to do so too. Of course, his were upside down but hey a kid has to have fun and doing things your own way is part of life!
Getting ready to let Mom have it!!
Enjoying the warmth of the fire that Daddy made for us!
It was a little warm for our face though.
